The Cardinals should be on upset alert against the Dolphins

One of the NFL’s biggest surprises this season has been the play of the Arizona Cardinals. Picked by many pundits to finish last in the NFC West, Arizona has arrived to contend a year early, scoring several big wins in the process.

The big stunner came in Week 7 when the Cardinals outlasted Russell Wilson and the Seahawks in a thriller to hand Seattle its first loss of the season. Arizona got a full week to enjoy the win during its bye and returns to action as 4.5 point favorites at home on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

This game is very dangerous for the Cardinals since Miami has the NFL’s best scoring defense, which proved their worth by harassing Jared Goff into four turnovers on Sunday. Tua Tagovailoa didn’t have to do much to help the Dolphins beat the Los Angeles Rams since Miami’s defense and running game is the key to their success.

These two teams should play a close game and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Miami rides the momentum from their huge performance on Sunday into another win over an NFC West foe. Arizona needs to be at the top of its game if it hopes to avoid getting tripped up by the Dolphins in Week 9.
