A day some never thought would come. Antonio Brown returns to the NFL in a Buccaneers uniform in Week 9. Here’s what you can expect from him in his debut.

Antonio Brown is one of the most polarizing athletes in recent memory. His off-the-field antics have led to people discrediting his name and his NFL reputation. Putting those antics aside, let’s look into Antonio Brown as a player.

Per Game Stats: 6.4 receptions, 86 yards and 0.57 touchdowns

That is good for the 4th highest yards per game for a Wide Receiver in NFL History.

You can’t deny the man’s talent. He was arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL over a 5 year stretch and I fully expect Bruce Arians to take advantage of that. The Buccaneers have downplayed Antonio Brown’s arrival since the day they signed him. They don’t want the Saints to know what hit ’em on Sunday Night Football in Week 9.

I expect Antonio Brown to get into the end zone at the bare minimum. As a football fan, it is good to see Antonio Brown back. I hope he is healthy, both physically and mentally. He has had a troubled past and this could likely be his last chance in the NFL. If he screws this one up, I don’t see another team taking a chance on him.

I’ll predict his stats for this week.

Stat Prediction for Week 9: 6 receptions, 79 yards and a touchdown.

Like I said, I am betting on the talent of Antonio Brown. Bruce Arians is not an idiot. I trust that AB has stayed healthy and in shape.

The Buccaneers and Tom Brady would not have brought AB to TB if he wasn’t going to immediately contribute. Fire him up in your fantasy football leagues. Can’t wait to see the world react to his debut if he goes off.
