Masters Tournament 2020: Who will take home the Green Jacket?
Can Tiger Woods repeat and win the Masters in back to back years?
Tiger Woods past Masters Finishes:
2019: Win (-13)
2018: T32 (+1)
2017: Did Not Participate (DNP)
2016: DNP
2015: T17 (-5)
2014: DNP
It is hard to get a gauge for Tiger as he has not participated in 3 out of the last 6 Masters Tournaments, but in the end, it is still Tiger Woods. He is arguably the most iconic golfer in the sport and he will continue to be that until he hangs it up. There was no better feeling than seeing Tiger wear the Green Jacket last year after a truly remarkable tournament.
I don’t project that he will win it again this year, but I have seen crazier things. Tiger always is a name to watch. All it takes is for him to get his groove back and he will be right in the thick of it. He has experience on his side, and it’s hard not rooting for him.
If he has the putter going (which we all know can be suspect at times), we might see Tiger take home his second consecutive Green Jacket, and his 6th overall which would bring him into a tie with Jack Nicklaus for the most Masters Tournament Victories of all time.
That would be surreal, and very unexpected, but it is 2020. If we have learned anything, it is that the impossible isn’t so impossible after all.
Moving onto the next golfer: Justin Rose.
