Notre Dame football scores on another botched handoff from D.J. Uigaelelei to Travis Etienne.
Notre Dame extends their lead over Clemson after another botched handoff to Travis Etienne.
Last week saw Clemson Tigers running back fumble the ball on the goal line in a bad handoff from backup quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei. The Boston College Eagles were able to take it 90-plus yards to the house. A week later, a similar thing happened, as Etienne could not handle Uiagalelei’s pitch. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was able to score for the Golden Domers.

Notre Dame added to their lead with a field goal to stretch their lead to 23-10 with a few minutes left in the first half.
Twitter couldn’t believe Clemson self-destructing vs. Notre Dame
That's the second time in two weeks that a botched connection between DJ and Etienne produced a defensive score. That one appeared to be all on Etienne.

Rare to see #Clemson's Travis Etienne make a mistake like that, but Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah showing why he's an All-America candidate. Perfect spot to take it in for the TD.

Wow. Travis Etienne drops the ball on a pitch play and Notre Dame picks it up and returns it for a touchdown.

Clemson will have to make some serious adjustments at halftime if the Tigers want to avoid being upset. While a road loss to Notre Dame would not end their College Football Playoff chances, it eliminates any margin for error. The Tigers would need to beat Notre Dame in the ACC Championship game if they were to fall in South Bend on Saturday night in primetime.
