With a nice split in the schedule, Fanduel lineups can be great this week.

The NFL finally gave the football-watching public what they want. The league gave us a pretty even split between games at 1 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. There are five games in the early slate and six games in the late-afternoon time slot. This is exactly how it should be, and it keeps fantasy players engaged for six straight hours of football.

This week’s Fanduel slate is interesting beyond that. There are some really fun matchups that could be extremely high scoring (Los Angeles Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins is circled on this list). Some hard decisions come with star players taking on just terrible defenses, making it hard to tell if they will be sitting by halftime (Davante Adams vs. JAX, Alvin Kamara vs. SF, and Miles Sanders vs. NYG are just a few that come up).

This season, the star players have dominated when they have been healthy. It actually isn’t something as consistent as it sounds. Adams was once again dominant when he was healthy enough to play. Christian McCaffrey returned from injury to absolutely torch the Chiefs, but now it looks like he could be out again. Three of the top five most expensive running backs could miss the game with injuries.

This week has a lot of pitfalls, especially at the running back position. There aren’t a lot of stars on the slate, so make sure to think long and hard about those “value bets” because they could easily be the difference between making money and being left out.
