Wide Receiver: Terry McLaurin $7,000

There are very few wide receivers who can produce no matter who the quarterback is, but Terry McLaurin seems to be that player. Kyle Allen got hurt for the Washington Football Team, and Alex Smith came in during the game. McLaurin was still able to get over 100 yards.

This week, Washington takes on the Detroit Lions. They might not have allowed a lot of points to wide receivers this past week, but they were busy getting destroyed by Dalvin Cook to even have time to allow passes to the wide receivers. Kirk Cousins still had three touchdowns, so it wasn’t like they allowed no points through the air.

The Washington Football Team doesn’t have the same amount of weapons, so they will focus on getting the ball to McLaurin and their talented group of running backs. McLaurin has been wildly consistent this season, getting more than 10 points in Fanduel in every matchup except two. He has three games with at least 18 points, including the last two. He’s hot right now, and players need to play the hot hand.

Even if Alex Smith is atrocious, he is a veteran and knows how to look for his top receiver. He might even throw it up a couple of times in traffic, hoping McLaurin can come down with it. As a team, it’s not a great situation for Washington. As fantasy players, Smith doesn’t hurt McLaurin’s value that much.
