Denver Broncos (3-5) at Las Vegas Raiders (5-3), 4:05 pm

Broncos: A week after rallying for a 31-30 win over the Chargers, Vic Fangio’s club dug itself another big hole and this time came up short. In their last three games, the Broncos have found themselves behind by at least 21 points, including the Week 7 lopsided loss to the Chiefs. Denver has been outscored 121-64 in the first half this season.

Raiders: Las Vegas’ balanced and efficient offense has been a big reason for the team’s 5-3 record. But Paul Guenther’s defensive unit must find a way to pressure Broncos’ quarterback Drew Lock and force him into some uncomfortable situations. The Raiders have totaled only nine sacks and five takeaways in eight outings this year.

Los Angeles Chargers (2-6) at Miami Dolphins (5-3), 4:05 pm

Chargers: Anthony Lynn’s club is coming off another heartbreaking loss as the Bolts fell short at Las Vegas. Rookie quarterback Justin Herbert continues to excel but the Los Angeles’ defense has not been able to stop teams when it counts most. The Chargers have allowed 216 points – the majority of that (130) in the second half and overtime.

Dolphins: One week after taking a back seat to the defense and special teams vs. the Rams, rookie Tua Tagovailoa looked more the part of a first-round pick at Arizona. Still, Brian Flores’ defense has really been the difference so far. The ‘Fins have 14 takeaways and 20 sacks this year after forcing 16 turnovers and totaling 23 QB traps in 2019.
