Scouting Report. . Indiana Pacers. 4. player. 100. Pick Analysis. Central

It’s easy to assume that the sky is falling in Indiana considering the firing of Nate McMillan and new Victor Oladipo rumors that pop up every day, but this roster is still a playoff team in the East. With or without Oladipo, Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis make for quite the tandem inside. However, if there is one part of this roster that could come back to haunt them, it’s the lack of shooting, as this team was dead last in the league in threes attempted and second-to-last in made threes.

While Harris is by no means an elite defender, and this roster was constructed by a defensive head coach, bringing him in means that Indiana will have to be comfortable in trading some defense for shooting.

Harris might not be the best shot-creator or defender, but he is a perfect role player that could slide into a team that needs a player like him in the worst possible way. Provided that Indiana either keeps Oladipo or brings in a similar player in any trade that gets him out of the Hoosier state, Harris should be able to land on his feet in Indiana and keep the Pacers in the top half of the Eastern Conference once again.
