These 15 NCAA basketball teams will be must-watch TV this season.

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen college basketball, and the return of the sport on Nov. 25 will be very exciting and cathartic for hoops fans. College basketball might look a bit different than we’re used to, but it will still be fun to see a mad dash to the NCAA Tournament once again.

There will be plenty of games on television every night, which will help fill the sports void in America thanks to the delayed start to the winter sports like the NBA and the NHL. The player that’s appointment-worthy all by himself is Oklahoma State true freshman Cade Cunninghan who is the early favorite to be the top pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. But for a look at the NCAA basketball teams that will be the most fun to watch this year, let’s take a look at the leading 15 candidates, beginning with a mid-major.

15. Richmond Spiders

There is almost always a mid-major squad that can make a deep NCAA Tournament run and this year’s version should be Richmond. After finishing behind Dayton in the Atlantic 10 last season, the Spiders are returning four of five starters and are a team that should rank in the preseason top 25. Richmond has also set itself up for better seeding in the dance by scheduling non-conference matchups with Kentucky and West Virginia, giving us a measuring stick of how high the Spiders’ ceiling is. This team should be a dangerous out all season long, so make sure to check out Richmond when you have a chance.
