It’s feeling more and more likely that Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetekounmpo will sign a max extension with the team.

The NBA offseason has already been electric, with multiple teams making big-time trades to strengthen their squads. This includes the Milwaukee Bucks, who are ready to go all in to try and win the NBA Finals next season.

The question on everyone’s minds, though, is whether or not back-to-back MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo plans to sign a max extension with Milwaukee before the deadline comes and goes on Dec. 21.

Good news has arrived for all you Bucks fans out there, as it’s appearing more and more likely that Antetokounmpo will sign on the dotted line to stay with the team for the long haul.

NBA chatter tells us Giannis Antetokounmpo is getting ready to sign a five-year deal with the Bucks

What a relief this will be for Bucks nation, as rumors had also been swirling that Antetokounmpo was considering test the free-agent waters and potentially joining forces with the Golden State Warriors or Miami Heat. However, it doesn’t look like that will he happening, as ‘The Greek Freak’ could be on the verge of inking a monstrous five-year deal to stay with the Bucks.

Should that happen, it’d be even more amazing news for the city of Milwaukee to enjoy. Earlier this week, the Bucks also worked a blockbuster trade to land Jrue Holiday from the Pelicans. In landing Holiday, it surely sent a message to Antetokounmpo about the team ready to do everything they can to give him the help he needs to win a title.

Now, we’ll just have to wait and see if Antetokounmpo commits his future to the team that drafted him. If he does, Milwaukee as a whole will rejoice with the news.
