3. NFL Week 11 best bets: Green Bay Packers +2.5

There’s a reason they play the games in the NFL and the Green Bay Packers nearly learned that the hard way in Week 10. Despite opening as nearly 14-point favorites against the 1-7 Jacksonville Jaguars, the Packers had to fight tooth and nail to escape with a close victory.

Jake Luton actually had the ball with a chance to give the Jaguars the lead in the final minutes before Green Bay’s defense came through with a couple of clutch sacks to short-circuit the drive. That performance did little to assuage the fears of those who think Green Bay may be a paper tiger after sloppy performances against Tampa Bay and Minnesota in the last month.

This week sees Aaron Rodgers and company hit the road for another matchup with an AFC South foe in the Indianapolis Colts. The books like Indianapolis, which is coming off the Thursday night mini-bye after beating up the Titans, as 2.5 point favorites.

The Colts are not a great team and this is a tremendous opportunity to get value with Rodgers as an underdog. Grab the points with the Packers, who are the better team and will demonstrate it by winning this game outright on Sunday.
