The Arizona Cardinals wide receiver held a meme contest, so of course it was one by football’s biggest winner — Tom Brady.

Every week in the NFL season, there’s an individual winner. As in a player who makes a game-changing that leads their team to victory. In Week 10, that athlete was Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who leaped over three Buffalo Bills defenders on a Hail Mary pass from Kyler Murray for the game-winning touchdown. Hopkins’ still shot of the catch was meme-worthy, so Hopkins decided to run a contest on Twitter, Whoever came up with the best or funniest meme would gain a signed jersey from Hopkins.

The winner of the contest wasn’t a fan. It was none other than Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady,  who responded with a GIF of a goat. Hopkins was a man of his word and sent the autographed jersey which read, “To Tom Brady, the GOAT.”

Brady stays winning

We’re going to be honest, Brady’s meme wasn’t exactly the best one we’ve seen. But hey, if a six-time Super Bowl champion calls you the greatest of all-time, then you damn well better send him autographed memorabilia! Those are the rules.

Hopkins didn’t have the repeat performance on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks as he did in his seven reception, 127 yard and one touchdown performance against the Bills. Facing off against his NFC West rival, Hopkins hauled in 5-of-8 targets for 51 yards in the NFL’s Week 11 kickoff.

Meanwhile Brady is on cloud-nine after Tampa Bay’s 46-23 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 10. In that NFC South contest, Brady completed 71.8-percent of his passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for two yards and a score on two carries.

When it comes to the greatest of all-time, Brady fits the bill. And if anyone is more qualified to point out a fellow GOAT, it’s him. With his GIF, he let the world know that Hopkins will go down as one of the best wide receivers in NFL history. With this grand gesture, Hopkins will receive an autographed jersey from Brady in the very near future.
