2. Isaiah Crowell

Isaiah Crowell has not appeared in a game since the 2018 season with the New York Jets. He did sign with the Oakland Raiders in 2019, but tore his Achilles in April of that year.

The running back began his career with the Cleveland Browns in 2014 and ran for 3,118 yards and 21 touchdowns during his time with the team. He ran for 685 yards in his lone season with the Jets and have proven himself to be a suitable, if not great, option in the backfield.

Crowell is an option for any team without two top running backs. So unless you are the Cleveland Browns, this is a player to keep an eye on and maybe bring in for a workout. He is a veteran and should be healthy given he hasn’t taken a hit since the 2018 season.

The health is obviously the key and teams aren’t exactly lining up to sign veteran running backs. However, he does provide depth and has played long enough to show up and be ready in any offense.

A contender would be signing a player who averages over four yards per carry in his career and who has fresh legs. That would be a nice addition even if only for a few carries per game.
