Spencer Rattler is now 1-0 over Oklahoma State football in the Bedlam Series.

With a win over Oklahoma State football in Bedlam, Spencer Rattler took to Twitter afterwards.

The Oklahoma Sooners quarterback guided his team to an effortless 41-13 win over the Pokes on Saturday night. Despite its high-profile nature, the Sooners’ rivalry with the Oklahoma State Cowboys is one of the most lopsided in college football. Oklahoma leads 90-18-7 all time, winning the last six and all but two since Mike Gundy was hired as Oklahoma State’s head coach in 2005.

Spencer Rattler understands that it is called the Sooner State for a reason

With their latest win, the Sooners improved to 6-2 on the year and 5-2 in Big 12 play. Oklahoma only has games left vs. the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Baylor Bears. If Oklahoma wins those two games, it will face presumably the winner of the Iowa State Cyclones at the Texas Longhorns game next week in the Big 12 Championship game with the Cotton Bowl on the line.

Despite their slow start to the campaign, Oklahoma has progressed as the season has gone along with Rattler under center. While the Sooners will not be playing in the College Football Playoff this year, they should be proud of the fact they did not give up in a lost season, as well as humiliating the Pokes and ending their slim playoff chances in the process. Oklahoma is certainly trending up.

Rattler knows exactly where his team stands in the always popular Bedlam Series, the good side.
