And things did not look good when the Titans went down 21-10 early in the third quarter. But relentless running back Derrick Henry slowly but surely found his groove and finished with 28 carries for 133 yards and a score – including a 29-yard touchdown run in overtime to give Tennessee the comeback win.
Losers of three of their past four games after winning their first five contests, the suddenly-struggling Seahawks hosted the rival Cardinals on Thursday night as both teams brought a 6-3 record into the contest.
This victory was less about Russell Wilson but a balanced attack that ran 62 plays, equally divided by runs (31) and pass plays (31). After combining for 170 yards rushing in losses to the Bills and Rams, the ‘Hawks ran for 165 yards vs. the Cards.
The top-ranked defense in the league didn’t look the part early on as the visiting Packers opened up a 28-14 halftime lead while the Colts allowed 206 total yards. But Matt Eberflus’ unit turned things around after intermission and limited Green Bay to 161 yards in the final 30 minutes and OT. Indianapolis forced four turnovers and scored 34 points for the second straight week.
Led by Jonathan Taylor, the Colts rushed for 140 yards.
