The annual Thanksgiving football marathon makes the Sunday slate a little short on talent.

Every year, Thanksgiving holds an all-day marathon of football games to watch in between talking to our families. Thanksgiving is going to be a little different this year with a lot of people spending it with their immediate families, but one thing that will not be changing is there will be football on the television.

With the talent from the undefeated Steelers, the Ravens in desperate need of a win, the weirdly fun Cowboys, and Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans all off the board for Sunday Fanduel players this week, alternatives are necessary. Luckily, the Tom Brady-Patrick Mahomes matchup gives about 10 total options between the two of them for what’s likely to be a high-scoring affair.

There are other interesting games on the docket, including some with intriguing low-priced options. The Giants-Bengals game could either be a low-scoring snoozer or a weirdly high-scoring blowout. After Joe Burrow’s knee injury, who knows what that game will look like.

Hitting on the most-expensive players is as important as ever this week. With so many star players on national television, if fantasy players choose the wrong one, it could be a killer. It is going to be one of those weeks with a few very expensive players supplemented by some huge risks. Instead of going for those sitting in the middle of the pack, hit the extremes.

Shoot for the moon this week. Home runs are what players need. There are too many players with serious bust potential.
