Wide Receiver: Jakeem Grant $4,800

Remember how wide receivers drop considerably at $6,000? Well, at $5,000 things fall off the face of the Earth. Still, if taking a chance on someone at the bottom of the list means getting Brady, Cook, and Allen, it’s worth the risk.

Jakeem Grant is intriguing. The Dolphins passing attack is in flux with Tua Tagovailoa expected to take back the starting job after he was benched against the Broncos on the road. Grant did not have a good day, putting up just over two points. He did get six targets, so if his quarterbacks were in a better position to succeed, he would have had a much better fantasy day.

Grant and the Dolphins are facing the New York Jets this week. It’s going to be a big day for the offense. Against the Jets, Mike Williams got 72 yards and a touchdown, Mecole Hardman got 96 yards and a touchdown, Cole Beasley had 11 receptions and 112 yards, Tim Patrick had 113 yards and a touchdown, and even Grant got four receptions for 48 yards against the Jets.

Grant is a huge risk, but when it’s considered that this pick allows for three high-priced pieces at the top, then it makes a lot more sense.

Other Options: Nelson Agholor $5,200, Adam Humphries $4,900
