Aaron Rodgers showed his funny side once again this week, as he gave a funny explanation for why he’s been so good throwing the deep ball this campaign.

Aging like a fine wine, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is in the middle of an unforgettable campaign in 2020. The future Hall of Famer has been lethal tossing the pigskin around, really excelling this fall in throwing bombs down the field.

So, what has helped Rodgers be so strong firing off rockets of 40 and 50 yards for his receivers to go up and come down with? On Wednesday, Rodgers quipped that he’s got some special motivation in doing so: the ladies.

Evidently, Rodgers knows that chicks dig the long ball, which he joked has helped him have so much success this year. Simply a brilliant answer. Hey, whatever works for you, Mr. Rodgers. On the season, Rodgers truly has been sensational, throwing for 2,889 yards, 29 touchdowns and only four interceptions.

Behind his strong right arm, the Packers have posted a 7-3 record through their first 10 games of the season. Green Bay looks like a serious threat to potentially win the NFC and get back to the Super Bowl. Rodgers has been playing with plenty of motivation already this campaign, as the Packers used their 2020 first-round pick on signal-caller Jordan Love.

After that happened, many out there foolishly thought Rodgers was on borrowed time as the starter. Really? Rodgers is still throwing the ball around like he was in his early 20s. Nothing is going to stop him from playing like one of the best quarterbacks in the league.

And hey, the man is single too, as he and Danica Patrick split up earlier this year. If he keeps throwing the long ball with so much ease and scoring impressive touchdowns, he shouldn’t be single much longer.

Next. Aaron Rodgers should be infuriated after Packers choked away a win in Indianapolis. dark
