Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Jacksonville Jaguars. Gardner Minshew. 2. player. 52

If Minshew wasn’t a sixth-round pick, Jacksonville would’ve been wildly praised for finding a new franchise quarterback. With 34 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in his career despite poor coaching and talent around him, Minshew has shown he can be a quality starting quarterback in this league. However, with Jacksonville hurdling towards a top-two pick that will land them either Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields, Minshew’s name will likely end up in the rumor mill this offseason, and Washington should be among the first teams to pounce on him.

Minshew doesn’t have the most live arm in the world, but he can make all the necessary throws, including some that Smith simply can’t make at this point in his career. His mobility will serve him well, as Turner can feel more comfortable using his legs on rollouts and bootlegs than Smith given his infamous injury. Going into just his third-year on a rookie contract, Washington could become the favorites in this division once again if they trade for Minshew and surround him with talent.
