Jerry Jeudy guarantees Alabama football is going undefeated this year
By John Buhler
Jerry Jeudy is very confident in Alabama football the rest of the season.
Former Alabama football star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy doesn’t think anyone can beat his old team this year.
The former Alabama Crimson Tide standout is in his first season as an NFL wide receiver with the Denver Broncos. While his team will not be playing this holiday season, his alma mater absolutely will, with a fantastic chance to win yet another national championship under head coach Nick Saban. As for Alabama’s chance, Jeudy is certain his alma mater is not losing a game this year.
Alabama has three tough games left on the schedule before it is over
Assuming Alabama gets past the arch rival Auburn Tigers in the Iron Bowl, the Crimson Tide still have to play the SEC West rival LSU Tigers before the 2020 SEC Championship game vs. the Florida Gators. If the Crimson Tide defeat Florida in Atlanta, it will earn the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff. From there, it will be two more games vs. elite Power 5 competition.
So if Alabama comes out of the SEC undefeated, the Crimson Tide would have to be the presumptive favorite to win it all over the likes of the Clemson Tigers, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Ohio State Buckeyes or whoever the College Football Playoff Selection Committee thinks is the fourth-best team. It is a bold proclamation by Jeudy, but one that we can all get behind.
If Alabama goes undefeated this season, it will be the sixth national title for Saban in Tuscaloosa.
