Adam Thielen wasn’t on the field for the Vikings comeback win but that didn’t mean he wasn’t watching.

As the Minnesota Vikings snatched victory from the jaws of defeat on Sunday, Adam Thielen wasn’t on the field to help. He wasn’t even in U.S. Bank Stadium, as the Vikings receiver was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list earlier in the week.

Despite not being involved in the comeback, Thielen was still glued to what was happening and cheering on his team as though he was right there with them.

After clawing their way back from a 24-13 deficit, Chad Bebe muffed a punt that seemingly would have given the Vikings a chance to drive down the field and win. in a reversal of fortune, the Panthers failed to score a touchdown and with time on the clock, Kirk Cousins led the Vikings down the field and connected with none other than Bebe for what ended up being the game-winning touchdown.

Carolina made things interesting by getting into field goal range with time melting off the clock, but Joey Sly missed what would have been a game-winner and the Vikings survived.

Thielen’s reaction to the comeback is the cherry on top of Vikings’ fans Sunday.

The win essentially saves the Vikings season, even though their playoff chances are still hanging on by a thread.
