Arizona Cardinals superstar quarterback Kyler Murray is showing off his wheel 

The Arizona Cardinals might be 6-4, but what would their record be without Kyler Murray?

The second-year quarterback has shown his ability to extend plays with his legs while launching home-run passes for touchdowns.

Sunday’s matchup against the New England Patriots could help Arizona return to the postseason for the first time in the Kliff Kingsbury era. Plays like this from its starting quarterback certainly will help them look strong entering the final month of play.

During the second quarter, the interior pass rush from New England burrowed the Cardinals guards. Most quarterbacks would have dropped within seconds to either take the sack or avoid getting hit. Murray though, well he had his way.

Avoiding the pressure twice, Murray eventually delivered a strike to tight end Dan Arnold up the middle of the field. It went for a gain of 17 but that’s only part of the story. Look at Murray’s footwork when he delivers the throw.

Clearly, he’s making a near-flawless play off his back foot alone.

Another day, another Murray highlight

Murray has been the staple to the Cardinals’ success this season on offense. Even last year, with a limited offensive line and arsenal, he made the most of his starting role that awarded him Rookie of the Year honors.

DeAndre Hopkins has helped the young pocket-passer develop into a budding star. On Sunday entering half time, the former Texans standout has hauled in four catches for 47 yards and a long of 16. Meanwhile, Murray has been pressure seven different times, yet only sacked once.

That’s a huge upgrade from Year 1 to Year 2 in the NFL.

Hopkins is the staple face down in the desert, but Murray has proven in a short time he’s the franchise guy. Soon, plays like that will be highlighted on his way to an MVP trophy.
