7. Pick Analysis. Arizona Cardinals. Kyler Murray. player. 32. Scouting Report. QB

2020 stats: 2,814 yards | 68.2 completion % | 19 TDs | 9 INTs | 7.3 YPA | 72.6 QBR

Last Week: 8

Murray struggled against Bill Belichick up in Foxborough. Big deal. He’s one of the best young players in the game who can win with his cannon arm or electrifying legs. He’s proven accurate and smart as well. The biggest issue is turning the ball over.

6. player. 13. Pick Analysis. QB. Justin Herbert. Scouting Report. Los Angeles Chargers

2020 stats: 3,015 yards | 66.9 completion % | 23 TDs | 7 INTs | 7.5 YPA | 69.0 QBR

Last Week: 7

Herbert is on pace for one of the best rookie seasons in NFL history. It’s very likely he goes for better than 4,000 passing yards and 30 touchdowns. The list of rookies to ever produce those numbers? Yeah, it doesn’t exist.

Pick Analysis. QB. Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen. 5. player. Scouting Report. 16

2020 stats: 3,028 yards | 68.8 completion % | 22 TDs | 8 INTs | 7.8 YPA | 75.4 QBR

Last Week: 5

Allen has slowed since his MVP-worthy month of September. Still, he’s playing at a high level. Against the Chargers, Allen threw for 157 yards in an extremely conservative game. He also tossed a bad pick. He’ll need to be better the next two weeks, with the 49ers and Steelers on deck.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. 4. Houston Texans. Deshaun Watson. player. 10

2020 stats: 3,201 yards | 68.9 completion % | 24 TDs | 5 INTs | 8.8 YPA | 74.2 QBR

Last Week: 4

You have to feel for Watson. He’s an MVP-caliber player stuck on a horrendous team. He’s averaging more than 8.8 yards per attempt, better than any other qualified quarterback. This is happening despite the trade of DeAndre Hopkins. Watson is an elite, elite talent.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Seattle Seahawks. Russell Wilson. 3. 36. player

2020 stats: 3,216 yards | 70.7 completion % | 31 TDs | 10 INTs | 8.2 YPA | 75.0 QBR

Last Week: 3

Wilson was fine on Monday night in the win over Philadelphia. He hit two big 52-and 32-yarders to D.K. Metcalf, and otherwise dinked and dunked. Most importantly, no turnovers against an Eagles team which needed a few to spring the upset.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Green Bay Packers. QB. Aaron Rodgers. 2. player. 49

2020 stats: 3,100 yards | 68.5 completion % | 33 TDs | 4 INTs | 8.1 YPA | 85.2 QBR

Last Week: 2

Rodgers has flown under the proverbial radar this year. He’s leading the league in touchdown passes and all of his other major metrics are at or near the top of their respective lists. At 35 years old, he’s playing some vintage ball.

Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. 124. QB. 1

2020 stats: 3,497 yards | 68.8 completion % | 30 TDs | 2 INTs | 8.3 YPA | 86.2 QBR

Last Week: 1

Mahomes went for 462 yards and three touchdowns in a win over the Buccaneers, and it felt routine. Look at his passing chart. It’s a laser show. Mahomes torched Tampa Bay by utilizing Tyreek Hill, who was somehow left in single coverage. Hill went for 269 yards, the 15th-best day for a receiver in league history.
