2021 NFL Mock Draft: New York Jets get latest franchise QB

The Jacksonville Jaguars have two first-round picks next year, and after getting their quarterback at pick No. 2 overall in Justin Fields, they get him a weapon later in round one with the Los Angeles Rams pick. Outside of Kyle Pitts, Penn State’s Pat Freiermuth is the best tight end in the class, and every young quarterback needs a security blanket at that position.
Why not pair No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence with his collegiate running back in do-everything playmaker Travis Etienne. This is a kid who can make plays in the passing game, can run through or around defenders, and is going to be a major upgrade from the old Frank Gore.
The Tennessee Titans pounded the Indianapolis Colts into submission this past weekend, as Derrick Henry ran all over their division rival. On defense, there still is a deficiency in terms of depth in the interior of the defensive line, and pairing Christian Barmore with Jeffrey Simmons gives them two, young talented starters for years to come at defensive tackle.
The Buffalo Bills continue to stack wins together, and before long, they should be able to clinch the AFC East, as they are the class of the division right now. Josh Allen is a talented quarterback, but he needs more protection up front, and in Alex Leatherwood from Alabama, they get a mauler who can start at tackle right away.
