Running Back: Chris Carson $8,000

Just in the last slide, it was pointed out that the Seattle Seahawks could be looking to crush the New York Giants on the ground. Russell Wilson and DK Metcalf are impossible to stop with a good secondary, let alone this one. However, Carson should be the workhorse in this game after proving he was healthy last week.

The Giants have weirdly won three-straight games, but Jones is likely going to miss the game with a calf injury. That likely leads to a rough Giants offense led by Colt McCoy. Wayne Gallman should get a lot of looks but expect to see some turnovers from Big Blue. This will give the Seahawks great field position and avoids the need for too many posts by Metcalf. This will provide scoring opportunities to Carson that he might not otherwise see.

The Seahawks have clearly missed Carson, who helps provide balance to the offense. Carlos Hyde and DeeJay Dallas haven’t been able to carry the load like Carson. The Seahawks gave Hyde more touches last week in Carson’s return, but that shouldn’t happen again. Carson outgained Hyde on fewer carries and scored an impressive touchdown. Head coach Pete Carroll has raved about Carson’s performance, and this should lead to more touches starting this week against a depleted Giants team.
