Fantasy football: FanDuel NFL 2020 best lineup for Week 13

Running Back: Alvin Kamara $7,400

Wait, Alvin Kamara is going for a running back two price? This might make a lot of Fanduel players skeptical, but when the game gives you a gift, take it. Kamara has not had the impact he had when Drew Brees was under center. Even his backup was getting the majority of touches last week in a drubbing of the quarterback-less Denver Broncos. However, this is the big rivalry game with the Atlanta Falcons. Whenever Sean Payton has had the chance to drop a hammer on Atlanta, he takes it. That happens with Kamara dominating.

The Falcons statistically do well against running backs. They held Josh Jacobs in check last week, although some of that was injury-related. Just two weeks ago, they held Kamara for 45 yards, one rushing touchdown, and zero catches for the first time all season. Hill hasn’t looked for Kamara and instead tries to run when he gets in trouble. Atlanta will game plan for that, which will force the Saints’ offense to pivot.

The other running backs in this price range include Alexander Mattison and Miles Sanders. Kamara is much more of a guarantee. He’s usually in the $8,500 range. For most of the season, he was almost a lock for 20 points every game. The last two games should not concern players too much. If Tayson Hill really is the Saints’ quarterback of the future, then he needs to learn how to get Kamara involved in the offense. It starts this week.
