3. Nyheim Hines (IND)

Game: Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans (Sunday, 12/6, 1:00 pm EST)

These two teams dislike each other. That’s a recipe for a fun football game. Rookie Jonathan Taylor is in on the coronavirus list, so the Colts will turn to Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins. Hines was the beneficiary of touches during Indianapolis’ humbling experience against the Tennessee Titans. That will continue into Week 13.

Houston is atrocious at stifling running backs, to the tune of 25 PPR points per game allowed. Hines will get his turn because he catches the ball out of the backfield as a receiving threat.

Start Hines if you’re ravaged by running back injuries (or you have Tampa Bay/Carolina players on bye).

4. Duke Johnson (HOU)

Game: Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans (Sunday, 12/6, 1:00 pm EST)

The other Johnson, David, is not yet ready to play vs. the Colts this weekend. Houston will call upon its other Johnson. Duke has been an average replacement to date for David. He has accumulated some decent yards from scrimmage but nothing otherworldly.

The Colts hover around the middle of the back in PPR points allowed to running backs (16 per game). Duke will not bulldoze Indianapolis, but he’s the best option that the Texans have in running to set up the pass.

Duke is on the same level as his opponent, Nyhiem Hines, this weekend — not prolific starters for your team but serviceable ones.
