Even with Taysom Hill at quarterback, the New Orleans Saints have managed to gut out a few tough wins that have kept them at the very top of the 2020 NFC mountain. While an old NFC South foe in the Atlanta Falcons might have a much worse record, Matt Ryan and the Falcons are playing some excellent football at the moment.

The Saints might be in first place in the NFC, but the Falcons could pull off the upset. They might be 0-5 due to some Dan Quinn choke jobs, but the team is 4-2 under interim head coach Raheem Morris.

What to watch for in Saints vs Falcons

The Saints have yet to throw a passing touchdown with Hill under center, but they have managed to grind out two wins, one of which came against these Falcons a few weeks ago. As long as skill position players like Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas are performing well, New Orleans’ offense should be able to produce with minimal interference from the Atlanta defense.

Morris has the defense playing at what is at least a respectable level, and that should be a major relief for Matt Ryan and a passing game that has essentially had to carry this team. While their numbers were inflated by playing the quarterback-less Denver Broncos last week, the Saints have one of the best defenses in the league, and that unit only be penetrated by a superb day from Ryan, Todd Gurley, and Julio Jones.
