In some big news for the Philadelphia Eagles, star tight end Zach Ertz is good to go for the Sunday showdown with the Green Bay Packers.

The long wait is finally over for the Philadelphia Eagles and standout tight end Zach Ertz. With Ertz listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, he went ahead and announced that he’s ready to rock on his Twitter account.

Ertz hasn’t seen the field since the Oct. 18 showdown with the Baltimore Ravens due to an ankle injury and a trip to Injured Reserve. Now, though, Ertz is all set to get back on the gridiron and is ready to help the team try and take down the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

Zach Ertz returning for the Eagles to face the Packers is huge news

It’s been a bit of a rough season for Ertz, as the veteran tight end has been limited to 24 receptions for 178 yards and one touchdown in only six games. However, when healthy, there’s no denying Ertz is a massive piece of the offense for Carson Wentz and Doug Pederson.

Ertz will be looked at to help provide a spark for the lackluster offense. This news has to be great for Carson Wentz, who has struggled throughout the year. On the season, Wentz has tossed 15 interceptions and lost four fumbles.

Now, Wentz has one of his favorite targets back in the fold for him to throw the pigskin to. With Ertz back, we’ll see if Philadelphia will be able to stun Aaron Rodgers and the Packers at Lambeau.
