Nyland Green committing to Georgia is a monster get for the Bulldogs

Landing a 4-star prospect a week before Signing Day is one thing, but to keep a top Georgia talent at home as well is a major bonus for Smart. Green is ranked the No. 69 player in the country per the 247Sports composite rankings and the No. 5 cornerback.

Throughout his recruitment, the Covington, Ga. product received 32 scholarship offers, picking Georgia over Clemson, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma and many others. In 2020, Georgia finished with the No. 1 class in the country. They’ve got some ground to make up leading up to next week and February’s Signing Day, but the addition of Green has surely helped them make up plenty of ground on both the Crimson Tide and Buckeyes.
