The Big Ten Football Conference is the definition of the year 2020 and both the Iowa Hawkeyes and Wisconson Badgers are prime examples of this crazy season.

So the Wisconsin Badgers have only played four games this season and have split those four games and honestly, given the rest of this year, I’m not even surprised at this. In their two wins, the Badgers were dominant on both sides of the ball, outscoring their opponents 94-18. But, in their two losses, their offense was shut down, providing zero support to their defense losing 17-7 to Northwestern and 14-6 to Indiana. So basically, Wisconsin performed exceptionally well versus the lesser teams of their schedule and in return, could not withstand the challenge in their toughest games of the season.

After starting the season 0-2 with a combined point differential of 5 points, the Iowa Hawkeyes are red hot after winning five in a row, with four of those five wins being by two touchdowns or more. I always say Iowa is that team that you can never give high or low expectations during the preseason as they are a team that you have to wait and see how they play before you can make any judgments. Although it will end without a conference title, the Iowa Hawkeyes should be happy with how their season went given the first two games.

But can the Hawkeyes stay hot and hold onto their spot in the final West division standings? Or will the Badgers steal a win away and end the regular season above .500?

Here’s how to watch and bet on the Wisconsin vs Iowa game

Prediction: Wisconsin’s defense is great but their offense is the complete opposite and will need to be a little more active in this game if they want any chance at winning. And to be honest, I do not see that happening. Iowa’s defense is nothing special but will do enough to shut down the Badgers’ offense as the game progresses. This game has all the making of a defensive Big Ten game, and if you aren’t sure of what that is, just look at Wisconsin’s last two games. Iowa is able to take advantage of extra possessions and prevails at home, sending the Badgers to below .500.

Score: Iowa 20, Wisconsin 13.
