Joe Judge’s club took a four-game winning streak into their meeting with the Cardinals, who had dropped their last three games.

But the Giants’ offense was virtually a no-show as the club gained only 159 total yards while Daniel Jones (6) and backup Colt McCoy (2) were sacked a combined eight times. Both quarterbacks also lost fumbles, as did running back Deon Lewis. The Cardinals ran for 159 yards and the Arizona offense rolled up 390 total yards.

. 6-7. Previous: . Minnesota Vikings. 17. team. 60

The Purple Gang moved the ball on the Tampa defense early in the game but wound up not getting a lot of bang for the buck thanks to a forgettable afternoon by kicker Dan Bailey. He missed a PAT on the club’s first touchdown of the game and would go on to push field goal attempts of 36, 54 and 46 yards, respectively, wide right on each occasion.

Kirk Cousins was sacked six times while Dalvin Cook ran for 102 yards and one TD in the losing effort.

Ron Rivera’s club headed to Arizona to face the defending NFC champions and Washington’s offense had its issues, gaining only 193 total yards on 62 plays. But rookie Chase Young put on a show, totaling six tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and a 47-yard fumble return for a score.

Kamren Curl picked off Niners’ quarterback Nick Mullens in the third quarter and took it 76 yards for a touchdown and Rivera’s team jumped into first place in the NFC East.
