  • High School: Noble and Greenough School (Dedham, MA)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 131, No. 8 OG

The top recruit from the state of Massachusetts is still on the board but is it a slam dunk he’s going to remain in the state? Drew Kendall ranks eighth among all offensive guard recruits on the composite.

He’s an athletic interior offensive lineman with room to grow that has experience playing on each side of the trenches at the high school level. The 6-foot-4 offensive lineman has a big frame with plenty of room to fill out but his athleticism will help overcome in the short term.

His father Pete Kendall was a longtime offensive lineman in the NFL. He also played for Boston College, which led to him being drafted in the first round in 1996.

Could a ‘like father, like son’ decision be in the works here for Boston College and another member in the Kendall lineage? If so, it’d be a big land for Boston College as they currently don’t have a commitment at the position yet.

A majority of predictions have Kendall committing to Boston College and staying local. However, Michigan and Stanford are both lurking and can’t be ruled out either. The Wolverines could be in line to poach a few remaining uncommitted recruits on signing day so keep an eye there.

Prediction: Boston College
