It’s a great year for recruiting in the state of Utah. With three talented four-star recruits, the Beehive State is providing a talented pipeline. Two of the top three recruits just happen to come from Corner Canyon High School

Jaxson Dart is one of the top uncommitted PRO style quarterbacks left available. Coincidentally, his teammate and center Jackson Light is the third-ranked recruit in the state. While Light has committed to Oregon, it appears the signal-caller taking the snaps from him could commit elsewhere.

Dart is a big quarterback at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds with an arm that fits all the cliches. Like many great quarterbacks that have played the position, Dart is also an exceptional baseball player as well in the state.

The question comes down to where Dart will end up recruiting. It could come down to the favorite USC or staying home to play for Utah. While the big city of Los Angeles is alluring, it’s hard to turn down staying in state and playing for a program like BYU that is also getting ready to send a quarterback pro in Zach Wilson.

It comes down to how stable the future of USC is right now. The Trojans are having an exceptional season but uncertainty seems to follow Clay Helton. What if Dart opts to try and follow Wilson’s lead with the Cougars?

Prediction: BYU
