2021 NFL Mock Draft: Atlanta Falcons replace Matt Ryan

The New England Patriots rolled the dice on Cam Newton this season, and the hope was that he could look more like the player that led the Carolina Panthers to a Super Bowl, and not a washed-up former MVP. Well, they have gotten a little bit of both this season, but it clear that he is not the answer in New England.
That answer could be Florida signal-caller Kyle Trask, who is definitely in the first-round conversation, and would go to New England and start right away. The Patriots have the talent to win and have gone a respectable 6-7 so far this season, but they need a legitimate franchise QB moving forward.
The season that looked to be very promising early on for the Las Vegas Raiders has turned into a nightmare, as they are fading down the stretch for the second straight season. As it stands, they are going to need a miracle to make the playoffs, which is insane considering they got out to a 6-3 start.
On defense, the Raiders are a mess, and they recently fired defensive coordinator Paul Guenther. They need help on all three levels, specifically in the secondary and at linebacker, and they get a tremendous coverage linebacker here in Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who could be the best pure player at his position in this draft.
The Baltimore Ravens kept their playoff hopes alive in miracle style, as Lamar Jackson returned from the bathroom to complete a stunning comeback over the Cleveland Browns. With the win, the Ravens can now just take care of business the rest of the way to clinch a Wild Card spot, and the lowly Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New York Giants stand in their way.
While Baltimore is likely slated for the playoffs, they need help along the edge on defense moving forward, especially with the talented quarterbacks in the AFC North. Carlos Basham Jr. is a guy who could go anywhere from the middle of the first round to the end, and I like him here at No. 18 to the Ravens.
