Let’s not expect the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver to stop being himself anytime soon.

One thing about the Pittsburgh Steelers is they know how to draft wide receivers in the mid-round level. The other thing to know is sometimes those pass-catchers can bring drama with their playing careers in the Steel City.

From Plaxico Burress to Antonio Brown, the Steelers always will have an outspoke player on the field. Now, it’s looking as if JuJu Smith-Schuster will be the next to add a little drama inside the locker room.

Known for his TikTok dances and viral videos on social media, Smith-Schuster was asked if he would continue dancing on team’s logos and posting them during pregame warmups. The fourth-year receiver made headlines over the weekend for dancing on the Buffalo Bills logo before seeing his team lose in a 26-15 showdown.

If anyone thought he was going to change, think again. Smith-Schuster isn’t going to stop dancing because it’s “who he is” as a person.

Should Smith-Schuster change who he is?

Buffalo’s defense took it personally that the Steelers receiver was having his way on their own turf. Instead of stopping him pregame, they held Smith-Schuster to a team-high 55 yards off six catches.

However, Smith-Schuster did find the end zone during the third quarter.

“We felt the momentum of the game swing,” Bills safety Jordan Poyer told reporters. “And I ain’t going to lie. Seeing them dancing on our logo pre-game and seeing all that, that turns you up a little bit. It kind of gives you a little second itch to come out and play with some extra fire.”

The Steelers are now on a two-game losing streak and are spiraling out of control. Yes, Smith-Schuster has been consistent, but the remaining players on the receiving corps have struggled.

Diontae Johnson had two more drops in the first half while Eric Ebron continues to struggle holding onto the ball. Meanwhile, the run game has been nonexistent over the past three games despite the return of James Conner.

If the Steelers were still undefeated, Smith-Schuster could have reason to back up the shenanigans. Until they start winning, let’s perhaps ease up on the viral trends for a game or two.
