Cleveland Browns receiver Jarvis Landry has blasted Marcus Peters after the cornerback spit on him on Monday night.

The Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens treated us to one of the best games of the season on Monday night, with the Ravens coming away with a thrilling 47-42 win. However, as great as the battle was, there was a horrible moment caught on video.

That came when Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters appeared to spit on Browns receiver Jarvis Landry after the two exchanged words. Well, Landry has now seen the clip and he didn’t hesitate in calling out the defensive back for what he chose to do.

Jarvis Landry is furious with Marcus Peters for spitting on him on Monday

Can you blame Landry for having this reaction? It’s one thing to jaw back and forth with one another and exchange some insults, but for Peters to spit on him is completely classless and unacceptable.

“He’s a coward,” Landry said. “He knew that maybe behind my back he could do things like that, but to my face he wouldn’t. Everybody knows what type of player he is and the type of person he is.”

Peters is known as being one of the most vocal players in the league. You’re always going to see him talking trash and backing it up on Sundays. However, who thought he’d do something like this? Landry apparently did, basically saying it didn’t surprise him to see Peters behave in that kind of manner.

Baltimore ended up winning Monday’s game and is a perfect 2-0 against the Browns this season. Should the two end up meeting again, you better believe Landry and the Browns will be even more motivated to take Baltimore down after seeing what Peters did.
