6. team. 15. . 10-4. Previous: . New Orleans Saints

After missing four games with broken ribs, quarterback Drew Brees returned as the Saints hosted the defending Super Bowl champions. The team trailed 14-0 in the first half before getting on the board and before you knew it, the NFC South leaders owned a one-point advantage. But the New Orleans’ defense once again struggled to stop the run and the Chiefs rolled up 179 yards on the ground, part of 411 total yards allowed by Dennis Allen’s unit.

53. . 10-4. Previous: . Cleveland Browns. 5. team

Off an exciting but disappointing 47-42 home loss to the Ravens, the Browns were back in the prime time spotlight as their clash with the Giants at MetLife Stadium was flexed into Sunday night. Baker Mayfield continued his recent strong play, missing on only five of his 32 attempts. He threw for297 yards and two scores and Kevin Stefanski’s team did not turn over the football. And the surging Browns have won 10 games for the first time since 2007.

4. team. 55. . 11-2. Previous: . Pittsburgh Steelers

The AFC North leaders have dropped two straight games after an 11-0 start. And the team has scored less than 20 points in each of their last three contests after totaling at least 26 points in each of their first 11 outings. Mike Tomlin’s club is playoff-bound but has struggled offensively via a lack of balance and too many dropped passes. But the Steelers are a perfect 4-0 vs. their AFC North rivals this season, including a 36-10 home win over the Bengals.
