Just make a pick on tomorrow’s Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is the Myrtle Beach Bowl goes south.

This includes the semi-finals on Jan. 1. The early line shows Alabama as a three-score favorite against Notre Dame and Clemson getting less than a touchdown against Ohio State. Those two will get the most play, but they might not be the two games bettors should focus on. There are some juicy lines in the opening spread.

New Year’s Six and CFP semifinals

Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl: Georgia (-6.5) vs. Cincinnati

Cincinnati has been disrespected by the playoff committee all season. One has all the motivation in the world to make noise, and another has nothing to play for. This has played out before with UCF.

Vrbo Citrus Bowl: Northwestern (-3.5) vs Auburn

Auburn is without a head coach for this game. Auburn is the more talented of the two teams, but with so many headlines surrounding the exit of Gus Malzahn, can the Tigers get a gameplan together and focus on Northwestern?

Rose Bowl Game Presented by Capital One – CFP Semifinal: Alabama (-20.5) vs. Notre Dame

Alabama is far better than Notre Dame. Alabama looks like it’s far better than anyone in the country. Notre Dame got destroyed by a Clemson team it beat without Trevor Lawrence earlier in the regular season. It still made its way into the College Football Playoff. However, the Crimson Tide have the advantage at just about every position. This one will be over quickly.

Allstate Sugar Bowl – CFP Semifinal: Clemson (-6.5) vs. Ohio State

This one might be the most fun bowl game in a long time. Clemson and Ohio State have great offenses. These two teams faced off in last year’s semi-final, where Clemson scored a go-ahead touchdown with less than two minutes left and Justin Fields threw an interception to thwart the comeback. This year, they are very similar teams. Clemson needs to pressure Fields, who has been more prone to mistakes this season.

TaxSlayer Gator Bowl: NC State (-3) vs. Kentucky

Outback Bowl: Indiana (-8) vs. Ole Miss

PlayStation Fiesta Bowl: Oregon (-5.5) vs. Iowa State

Oregon was given a gift of an invitation to the Pac-12 Championship Game and the Ducks took advantage, beating USC.  Now, they are getting 5.5 points in the Fiesta Bowl. Iowa State made a major mistake that ended up losing them the Big 12 Championship. Now, Brock Purdy and Breece Hall have something to prove in the program’s first New Year’s Six bowl.

Capital One Orange Bowl: Texas A&M (-6) vs. North Carolina

Texas A&M feels slighted after they were left out of the College Football Playoff. Kellen Mond called it a joke, but now he needs to come into the Orange Bowl motivated to show that the committee made a mistake. North Carolina has been mostly disappointing this season. Sam Howell will likely get a few deep shots in. However, Mond is going to run all day on his way to a college career-ending win.
