With the Holidays arriving, get in the spirit with Patrick Mahomes singing ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.’

The holidays have arrived, and the NFL will be providing all football fans with a Christmas Day game between the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints. Presents will be opened, egg nog will be consumed and carols will be sung on Dec. 25.

Speaking of carols, what better way to get in the holiday spirit than by watching Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes singing “Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer.”

Mahomes could get a late Christmas present in the form of NFL MVP

That’s right, that’s Patrick Mahomes before he got famous and became the most electrifying quarterback of this generation.

Mahomes has been stellar this 2020, which has played a role in the Chiefs solidifying themselves as the heavy favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy for the second-consecutive season. Mahomes was in the NFL MVP race early on, but took a bit of a backseat to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. But after Wilson’s struggles midway through the season, Mahomes sprinted past him and is currently trying to hold off fellow quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Josh Allen in the race.

Through 14 games this season, Mahomes has completed 67.3-percent of his passes for 4,462 yards, 36 touchdowns and five interceptions, while also rushing for 287 yards and two scores on 59 carries.

The Chiefs are in a great spot entering the second-to-last week of the 2020 NFL season. They currently sit atop the AFC with a 13-1 record and face an Atlanta Falcons team with a porous defense. If they manage to win on Sunday, they can clinch the top seed in the AFC and a first-round bye in the playoffs. That would be quite the belated Christmas present for Mahomes and the Chiefs.
