Ezekiel Elliott has heard all the news out there of people clowning on him and he doesn’t care about the noise at all.

It goes without saying, but Ezekiel Elliott has had a nightmare 2020 campaign for the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones finally rewarded him with his monster new contract, but Elliott has failed to live up to the amount of dollars the Cowboys put into his checking account.

The hate from Dallas fans only grew last week after backup Tony Pollard put on a show and rushed for two touchdowns in the win over the San Francisco 49ers. Elliott is well aware of everyone calling for him to lose his starting job, but plain and simple, he doesn’t give a damn.

Ezekiel Elliott won’t let the haters bring him down the rest of the season

Elliott’s response to people calling for him to get less carries is one that let’s you know just how fed up he is with the outside noise. At the end of the day, he’s confident in his abilities and won’t let anyone try and tell him he’s not an elite back in the NFL.

“At the end of the day, those aren’t the people signing my checks,” Elliott said of his haters “Those aren’t the cats that are making the final decisions. I think there’s a reason they’re not the ones making those decisions. I don’t think it really matters.”

Tell us how you really feel, Mr. Elliott. The Cowboys superstar sure is having a down year, though, as he enters Week 16 with 832 yards and five touchdowns to his name. He’s only averaging 3.9 yards per carry too, which of course isn’t going to cut it, especially with the impressive Dallas offensive line.

With the Cowboys on the outside looking in for the postseason, they’ll need some luck and to work some magic to somehow sneak in. Elliott could sure shut up plenty of folks too if he’s able to have some strong showings over the next two weeks.
