Yes, it is in fact the year 2020 (almost the end, thankfully), and you are reading how Andy Dalton should be a strong fantasy football quarterback option to consider heading into Week 17. He has found his form as the team’s starter and the former Cincinnati Bengal has delivered some clutch wins for the Cowboys.

Since Dalton returned in Week 11, he has thrown for 1,474 yards with 13 touchdowns and four picks. He has played well above the expectations most had for the veteran after Dak Prescott went down with an injury early in the year. Last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, he had 377 yards with three scores and one interception while completing over 73 percent of his passes.

This week, the Cowboys are in a must-win situation against the New York Giants. Now, the defense for the Giants has been strong at times this year, and that unit is why this club has been able to win a few games here late. In fact, they are one of the best defenses against opposing quarterbacks.

However, Dalton is experienced, and he has a plethora of weapons at his disposal. The Giants have also allowed 20 or more points three straight weeks.

Dalton will likely not go for a day as he had in Week 16. The Giants are a much stronger defensive team than the Eagles. But, he could have a day just a tick below that, with the possibility of more. Who would have thought Dalton would be leading the Cowboys into a possible playoff-clinching game this year?
