Mississippi State-Tulsa post-game handshakes escalate into all-out brawl (Video)

A fight broke out between the Mississippi State football team and the Tulsa football team.
Just when we thought things could not get any weirder in 2020, we saw a fight on the last day of the year between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
It had been a challenging year for Mike Leach’s Mississippi State football team, as this was his first year in the SEC. As for the Tulsa football team, the Golden Hurricane came up one win away from winning the AAC. Fate would have it these two teams collided in a big way on the Amon G. Carter Stadium turf in Fort Worth, Texas on New Year’s Eve. This one got very nasty very quickly.
We should expect some suspensions from the fallout of this incident
Even though it was the final game of a very weird 2020 college football season, the on-field brawl will have consequences beyond this campaign. Some players could get suspended for conduct detrimental to the team, but more likely than not, some returning players will get slapped with a first-half suspension of their Week 1 openers next season. Things escalated down in Fort Worth.
For two teams that never play each other, it added to the overall weirdness of the donnybrook.
