College football DFS picks January 1: Can Ohio State get revenge?

Our New Year’s Day is packed with college football DFS action. Okay, maybe not as packed as usual, but we still have some great games going on all day. We start at Noon Eastern with Cincinnati taking on Georgia in the Peach Bowl. An hour later, Auburn takes on Northwestern for just the second time ever in the Citrus Bowl.

Then we get to the college football playoff. The first semifinal at 4pm Eastern features the first-ever Texas Rose Bowl with Alabama taking on Notre Dame at Jerry World. We cap off the night with a Clemson-Ohio State rematch in the Sugar Bowl. Ohio State had the game all but won last year before a blown call reversed course for the Buckeyes. Is it revenge time? Let’s find out!

I played two lineups yesterday and both cashed with at least one zero in them. Plitt was a big reason for that. So were Santana and Robinson at low ownership. Let’s keep it going into 2021.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
