Kirby Smart was not interested in having a Gatorade bath after a thrilling bowl victory.

Georgia football head coach Kirby Smart was absolutely not about in being dunked in a Gatorade bath after after his Dawgs stunned the Cincinnati Bearcats in the Peach Bowl.

Despite being outplayed for much of the game, No. 9 Georgia found a way to beat No. 8 Cincinnati 24-21 in the final seconds to win the Peach Bowl in Atlanta. A 53-yard Jack Podlesny field goal and a ridiculous safety ended up tipping the scales in the Dawgs’ favor. Even if his team won in dramatic fashion, Smart channeled his inner defensive back to avoid being doused in Gatorade.

How good can Georgia be in the 2021 college football season?

While Smart washes off the minor traces of lime-green Gatorade from his favorite khakis, Georgia will be among the very best teams in the SEC once again. The Dawgs should return quarterback JT Daniels for his redshirt junior season. If some of the rising players on both sides of the ball pop, Georgia has the potential to win the SEC East and make the College Football Playoff in 2021.

Smart just won the Peach Bowl and did not even have to take a delicious Gatorade bath.
