The NFL playoffs are finally here, and Wild Card weekend is shaping up to be an overstuffed load of football fun.

With the regular season officially in the books, it’s time to look ahead to one of the most exciting postseasons we’ve seen in a while. Not only is the talent across the board absolutely insane, making for some delicious Wild Card matchups, but the new format means a slate of games unlike we’ve ever seen before.

This year only one team in each conference gest a first-round bye which means we will have 12 teams playing over the course of two days to determine who moves on to the Divisional Round.

Two different playoff droughts will end when Wild Card weekend kicks off. For the first time since 2002, the Cleveland Browns are in the playoffs, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are returning for the first time since 2008.

We’ll see a handful of rematches as well. The Browns and Steelers will meet for the third time, and the second time in two weeks, while the Titans and Ravens will meet in the playoffs in a rematch of last year’s Divisional Round game in which Tennessee upset Lamar Jackson and Baltimore.

The only two playoff teams that won’t be playing on Wild Card weekend are the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs, the No. 1 seeds in their respective conferences.
