The NFL Playoffs are around the corner, as we will get six games in Wild Card weekend. As we await those matchups, here is our latest 2021 NFL Mock Draft.

The final 14 teams have made the NFL Playoffs, as it took the very last game of the 2020 regular season to get to that point. This weekend, we get to enjoy a six-game stretch across Saturday and Sunday, as we start to whittle down to the two teams that will battle it out in the Super Bowl.

With that said, let us take a look at our latest 2021 NFL Mock before the festivities kick off this weekend.

Jacksonville Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence. 1. player. 52. . Quarterback

It has been a busy week for the Jacksonville Jaguars, as they fired head coach Doug Marrone after the 2020 NFL season. Marrone struggled as the head man in Jacksonville, and whoever inherits his job, is getting the position with a ton of assets readily available to them.

The Jaguars hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and with that selection, they select Clemson signal-caller Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence has been considered a once in a generation talent by many evaluators, but only time will tell if he can turn this franchise around.

player. 30. . Quarterback. New York Jets. Justin Fields. 2

With the No. 2 overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft, the New York Jets select Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields. While there is much speculation out there about what the Jets plan to do with this pick, the bottom line is they’re bringing in a new head coach, and he’s going to want to draft his guy at the position.

In Fields, they get a player who can make plays happen with his arm and his legs, talents that were on full display against Clemson in the College Football Playoff. The Jets have a lot of work to do with this roster, but they do have two first-round picks this year, so big changes are coming.

Penei Sewell. 3. player. 59. . Offensive Tackle. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins finished the 2020 NFL season with ten wins and barely missed out on a playoff berth. Thanks to the trade they made with the Houston Texans, they will also hold the No. 3 overall pick this year, putting the organization in a position to succeed for years to come.

With the selection, the Dolphins could certainly add a quarterback, as Tua Tagovailoa has not looked great since taking over for Ryan Fitzpatrick. However, they invested a first-round pick in him last year, so with this pick, they add a franchise left tackle in Oregon’s Penei Sewell to protect him, and hopefully help him in his development.
