Packers wideout Davante Adams tweeted out a shoutout to Alabama receiver DeVonta Smith after his huge first half Monday night.

DeVonta Smith is looking like an absolute superstar for Alabama in the National Championship Game. He entered halftime with 12 receptions for 215 yards and three touchdowns. At halftime!

This earned him a shoutout on Twitter from another star receiver in Davante Adams. The Green Bay Packers wideout has declared himself fine with getting his name misspelled as long as it is to DeVonta.

Smith getting all the praise

The Heisman Trophy winner put on an absolute clinic during the first half and made the Buckeyes secondary look lost. The Crimson Tide do have a nice 35-17 halftime lead, but Smith looks to be on his way to an easy 300-yard night.

A receiver like Adams has to be enjoying what he is seeing. Smith already appears to be an expert at his craft and his routes are leaving players like Shaun Wade wondering if they should have gone pro early.
