LeBron James got fired up to see Master Teague playing well for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

With Ohio State running back Trey Sermon hospitalized with a collarbone injury, Master Teague would have to pick up the slack in the Buckeyes backfield. No doubt that Ohio State diehard LeBron James got a little too fired up when Teague scored his second touchdown of the game to tie it up at 14 points apiece.

Ohio State could not afford to lose a star player like Sermon for the game. Then again, this Buckeyes team is resilient and will not go away against the top-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide. Ohio State was more than a touchdown underdog on a neutral site to Alabama, but the Buckeyes are holding their own in the first half of this high-stakes ball game. Will they keep it up for the King?

Alabama and Ohio State already have rich College Football Playoff history. They met in the inaugural national semifinals. Fate would have it the No. 4-seeded Buckeyes would best the top-seeded Crimson Tide in the 2015 Sugar Bowl. Ohio State would go on to beat the No. 2 Oregon Ducks to win the first College Football Playoff. Does Ohio State have this one in them?

Even though he is rooting for the Buckeyes, James did tweet out something flattering about 2020 Heisman Trophy winner in Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith. James compared him to Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne, so apparently the top-10 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft is destined to be an Indianapolis Colts legend. Regardless, this is another example of great respecting great here.

James’ love for the Buckeyes is on full display, but he also has a great deal of respect for Alabama.
