Drew Brees is set to become a Hall of Famer soon, but can the New Orleans Saints quarterback take down the G.O.A.T. one more time?

This was always the way it was going to end for them. Tom Brady versus Drew Brees in the playoffs for another chance at a title.

One more time.

It’s Round 3 between two of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. So far, Brees has bested Brady twice, showing the NFC South still runs through the bayou.

Who will come out on top this time; the New Orleans Saints or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

Two names that will forever be remembered for their role in shaping the NFL will battle it out in the Superdome. To some, a victory would mean losing a friendship to close out a career. However, Brees believes the matchup will bring the best out of both players.

“We were texting back and forth on Monday, just kind of chuckling at this whole scenario, right,” Brees said to reporters. “He’s 43. I turn 42 on Friday, so that’s 85 years and a lot of football experience that’s going to be on the field on Sunday.”

Which veteran will put out the win it out?

When Brady left the New England Patriots, it became a new battle down in the south. The Buccaneers always felt as if they were a quarterback away from being great. That’s likely true as the 20-year Patriot man led Bruce Arians’ squad to an 11-5 finish.

Brees all-time is 5-2 against Brady. Brady though holds more titles with six.

Earlier this month, Brady tweeted out a photo of the pair looking much older than their actual age. A fun gesture at two of the oldest players in the sport, it certainly feels as if the Senior Bowl 2.0 will be headed down to the swamps.

Bragging rights will be on the line for both parties as the two have a chance to represent the NFC. After all, how many times will the all-time Super Bowl champ and all-time passer leader meet on the gridiron anymore?
